Author Betsy Simon (Karen Lesiewicz) finally finds career success when her new novel, Heavens to Betsy, is published. Following advice from her agent (Ruth Kaufman), she tells the public that the book is a work of fiction. After talking with Pastor John (Jim O'Heir from TV's 'Parks and Recreation') she claims that the events portrayed in the book actually happened to her!
