Shogun's SamuraiFollowing the massive success of the 1978 movie version, this TV series is newly produced by returning faces such as Director Kinji Fukasaku and actors Sonny Chiba and Kinnosuke Yorozuya. After the death of the second Tokugawa shogun Hidetada, his sons Iemitsu and Tadanaga shed family blood over the succession of the dynasty. Iemitsu's swordmaster Munenori Yagyu leads the Yagyu clan with his oldest son Jubei Yagyu and lends their swords to Iemitsu as they throw themselves into a bloody conflict.
