9 Story - Kids

Kami, one of Barney's youngest friends, has trouble keeping up with the other kids and she's tired of always being last.  She's not having a very good day...until Barney and his friends point out that a caboose (like the one in their park) is the last car of the train; where the conductor sits.  To help make Kami feel better, the kids make Kami "Conductor for a Day."

All Aboard

When Tony brings his kite to the park to show his friends, it accidentally blows into the branches of a tree!  While waiting for a breeze to blow the kite down, Barney, Baby Bop and the kids play games about "up" and "down"-in hopes of getting an idea to bring the kite down.  Finally, after some inspiration from a "hopping mad" Baby Bop that Tony gets a great idea to retrieve the kite.  All in all, ANY day can have its "ups and downs"-but thanks to Barney and his friends, today is special!

Up, Down, and Around

A tea party planned by the children turns into a fun opportunity to reinforce lessons about good manners!  Throughout the day, Baby Bop is given helpful advice-and takes special delight when Barney encourages the kids to put on a comic presentation of "The Floodledoops"-a humorous lesson about bad manners!  There's a lot for Baby Bop to remember-but BJ is there to help her, and Barney and the kids are there to make it a day of tea-riffic fun!

Tea-riffic Manners

Barney and the kids help Mr. Boyd prepare his dog Bingo for a trip to the veterinarian for a check, while learning lessons about caring for dogs at the same time. Meanwhile, BJ is searching for his missing baseball, which he suspects was buried by Bingo. Other visitors to the park include Miss Duffy, a sight-impaired friend of Barney's who introduces the children to her guide dog, Kellie.

Puppy Love

A day of imaginative play and fun for Barney and his young friends is kicked off by the arrival of a variety of boxes from the "Enjoy-Your-Toys Company."  Surprisingly, every box is empty!  Barney explains that ordinary boxes can become great toys with the use of a bit of imagination-and soon everyone is engaged in crafts, games, and fantasy play.  Barney and his friends discover that ordinary boxes help make for an extraordinary day of fun!

Bunches of Boxes

After playing with "Stop" and "Go" signs with Angela, Baby Bop leaves to direct some traffic of her own! Meanwhile,Barney and the kids enjoy a costume parade, a game of "Musical Stop & Go," and some very vigorous body movement. Out in the park, Baby Bop stops a police officer, a dog, and attempts to stop a bird, who flies on about its business.

Stop! Go!

The kids have put together a "Caboose Color Collection" which showcases the primary colors-red, yellow and blue. Barney and Baby Bop enjoy songs and games suggested by the colorful objects and when Baby Bop donates her "yellow blankey" to the somewhat sparse "yellow collection," the search is on for a "blankey substitute!" With a bit of initiative-and the magic of imagination-the "yellow collection" soon gains enough exhibits to allow Baby Bop to retrieve her beloved blankey.

Red, Yellow and Blue!" 

The children are surprised to learn that playing games and having fun in the park is great exercise. Baby Bop is happy to learn that not only is she exercising while she plays, but exercise will make her grow big and strong. When a light rain shower moves everyone inside, they learn that there are plenty of ways to exercise indoors. They also learn that their bodies need healthy food as well as plenty of exercise to help them grow.

Play for Exercise!

Barney and the kids are excited because five of Mr. Boyd's brass-playing buddies are putting on a show in the park tonight! Angela is learning to play the trumpet and knows that it takes a lot of practice. BJ arrives and the group visits the caboose, where Mr. Boyd has set up a collection of different brass horns. Finally, it's back out to the park to hear the brass quintet play two tunes-with Barney, Mr. Boyd, and BJ all playing along!

Come Blow Your Horn

While Barney has fun with his friends every day, there's something special about making a brand NEW friend! When Mr. Boyd's niece, Colleen visits the park, she's eager to make friends with the other kids, but being the "new kid" isn't easy. Fortunately, Barney is there to gently guide the kids through a series of fun activities that make it easy for Colleen to go from "new kid" to "new friend!"

A New Friend

Tony shares a box full of numbers that he made with his dad. He is showing them off when a gust of wind blows them all away. Barney and the kids decide to go on a number hunt. They soon find Baby Bop and their hunt takes the entire group all over the park and inside the caboose. They play "Number Limbo" and eat "Six Shake Pudding." Finally, Barney and the kids find all of Tony's numbers and have fun along the way learning about numbers!

Numbers!  Numbers!

Angela is in the park to release her turtle after observing him with her classmates in school.  Barney and the children discuss the meaning of in and out after observing the turtle going in and out of his shell. BJ and Baby Bop arrive, and all continue to discover the "ins" and "outs" all around them!

This Way In, This Way Out!

It's a rainy spring day, and the children can be found inside painting and creating. Barney arrives, explains the differences amongst the seasons, and suggests playing outside in the rain.  The rain is soon replaced by sunshine and a rainbow-which prompts favorite springtime activities like blowing bubbles, enjoying nature, having a picnic, following ants, and waddling like ducks.  The children know that any season of the year is fun with Barney as a friend!

Spring Into Fun!

It's always fun to share a day with Barney-but it's also important to learn how to "play it safe!"  Baby Bop, wanting to be a good helper, has been attaching adhesive strips to her frustrated (and uninjured) brother, BJ. Barney reminds her that bandages are for real boo-boos; he shares lessons with the kids about safety rules for playgrounds and parks-while still having fun! When BJ trips and gets a real boo-boo, Baby Bop is happy to help!

Play It Safe!

Barney and his friends play hopscotch-with a twist. Whitney is learning about triangles at school, so Angela created Triangle Hopscotch to help reinforce "triangles." The children go on a triangle hunt, create art projects using triangles, and even eat triangle-shaped S'mores on the pretend campout that Barney provides. Who would imagine that Barney could make triangles so much fun?

Three Lines, Three Corners

It's the day of the bike parade. But Nick has had a bike accident that leaves his bike in need of repair by Mr. Boyd. Barney helps Baby Bop and the children learn all about bicycles-and that they are a wonderful way to exercise and have fun. When Nick's bike is repaired, the bikes are decorated, Barney adds a surprise touch, and everyone is ready to roll!

A Parade of Bikes

Beth has invented a brand-new holiday called "Happy Day," in which everyone gets to make a wish for something which will make them happy-and everyone else tries to make that wish come true!  Barney and the kids discuss feelings and facial expressions before moving on to the serious business of having fun. BJ enthusiastically joins in the activities as wishes are fulfilled.

It's A Happy Day!

The children are invited to a family picnic in the park, but don't know who invited them. The invitations instruct them to bring a family treasure, so each child has something special with them. Barney helps lead a discussion about families. The children discover that Barney sent the invitations; they are pleasantly surprised to see that he has invited their families to the park.  Another fun day with Barney!

My Family and Me

A "too hot" afternoon becomes a "totally cool" day when Barney introduces his friends to the wonders of water. A cool drink on a hot day leads to a discussion that water is important for drinking, for playing, for plants and flowers, for brushing teeth, for making lemonade, and for swimming. With Barney's help, the children, but especially Barney, make a huge splash in a real swimming pool!

Splish!  Splash!

Although the park may be a home away from home for Barney and his friends, BJ wants to build his own "totally awesome, completely cool" house. While BJ works on his house, Barney and the children learn all about houses and homes. BJ finishes his house, but soon realizes he's forgotten to build a room for his sister, Baby Bop. Barney reminds everyone that it's a family and loving friends that make a house a home!

BJ's Really Cool House

While Barney and the children wait for Mr. Boyd's new fountain to be delivered, they take time to explore and enjoy all areas of the park.  A game of "I Spy" reveals a friendly bunny and some butterflies take a surprising interest in literature! Although the fountain isn't quite what everyone expected, Barney knows just what to say and do to assure that this day-like all days in the park-will turn out perfectly.

A Fountain of Fun

Barney, Baby Bop and the kids learn about "on" and "off" while playing games together. Silly hats and fanciful footwear provide fun from head to toe. Dressing Baby Bop's teddy bear in pretend-play costumes sparks their imaginations for some tee-rific fun that's hard to turn "off!"

On Again, Off Again

The children are bringing toys to the park to donate to Mr. Boyd's toy drive. They decide to have fun playing with some of the toys one last time. Sharing a delicious snack and acting out a special story about sharing help to convince Baby Bop about the merits of sharing-so much so that she shares one of her favorite toys and feels great about it!

Sharing Is Caring!

Unfortunately, the park's friendly painter, Miss Jo, has lost her cat, Cody. While Barney and the children spend the day helping her find her cat, they have fun learning about domestic and exotic cats and how to take care of pets. Thanks to Barney and the kids, it turns out to be a purr-fectly wonderful day!

Here Kitty, Kitty

Mario is trying to write his very own fairytale, but he needs everyone's help exploring the world of fairytales so he can get ideas for his story. With Barney's guidance, the kids act out some of their favorite tales which include a magic fish, helpful elves and a wolf. Mario is soon inspired to write a story brimming with imagination and his friends can't wait to read it. In the end-they all live happily ever after!

Once Upon a Fairy Tale

It's a hot day in the park and throughout the day, Barney and the children learn about hot and cold. Eating at the 'Just Right Restaurant' teaches Baby Bop about foods that are too hot, too cold and just right-but the fun really begins when Barney turns the playground into a winter/summer wonderland. And what better way to top off a hot day than with delicious ice cream!

It's Hot!  It's Cold!

When Sarah accidentally spills red paint into blue paint, a mess turns into a 'perfectly purple' day. Fun abounds when the kids paint pictures, make purple flowers and plan a special purple party for their friend, Colleen. Thanks to some special Barney magic, it's a purple party surprise for everyone!

A Perfectly Purple Day

It's a nice, sunny day in the park and Barney and his friends are having some fun. Beth is tired because she stayed up late at a sleepover, so they decide to have their own sleepover inside the caboose. Outside in the park, Barney uses his magic to create 'night' during the day, and the kids discover that nighttime has special sights and sounds all its own.

Day and Night

An impromptu 'toy piano' concert in the park leads to a pair of surprises in the caboose-a previously unseen piano and Bingo the dog apparently playing the piano. These twin mysteries are soon solved by Mr. Boyd, and the children learn all about the piano when they play games, listen to real pianos and even play a little themselves. The real key to happiness is an exciting day of fun and musical discovery with Barney and his friends!

Play Piano With Me!

After a brief misunderstanding, BJ realizes that he does have many special friends. The kids present him with a surprise they made especially for him to show they really care. All ends well and they end the day together having lots of fun playing baseball in the park-and Jackson surprises them all!

A Picture of Friendship

While playing a game of Hide and Seek in the park, Baby Bop realizes that she can't be the one to count to ten because she doesn't know how-so Barney and the kids jump right in to help her. A trip to a make-believe market and a magical parade of numbers help to keep her motivated so that she's soon ready to play 'Hide and Seek' and successfully count to ten. While having so much fun, the kids learn an important lesson, too-you can't go wrong when you have friends to count on!

A-Counting We Will Go

After a playful session with building blocks, Nick can't help but notice that he's always the littlest of Barney's friends. Barney assures him that he's growing a little bigger, and together they have fun discovering BIG and little things in the world around them. By the end of the day the kids have learned that BIG or little, they are all wonderful just the way they are!

A Big Little Day

The kids are excited about an International Fair being held in the park. Before the fair opens, they have fun touring the world with Barney who manages to surprise them in some fashion at each stop. After making their way around the world, Barney and his friends prove that kids aren't really so different no matter where they live!

A World of Friends

Barney and the kids have a fun, safe day playing together. They create a neighborhood of block buildings and figures representing favorite neighborhood places, friends and community helpers.  Their pretend play teaches them about their community and the people that help them live safely and happily there.

Who's Your Neighbor?

Barney and his friends join forces to help Nick with his homework and have fun at the same time!  His assignment is to find 'squares' in his daily life, and the kids and dinos join in the fun of searching for hidden squares-both inside and outside. A boot kickin', banjo strumming square dance and a surprising 'square' meal add to the excitement. After a day with Barney and his friends, Nick's homework is in great shape!

Squares, Squares Everywhere

Mario and BJ enjoy playing with their special toy cars in the park. After a pretend ride in Barney's imaginary car, the kids have fun playing with some toy cars and busses in the caboose.  Mario has a great idea for making their very own bus out of the large boxes outside the tool shed.  They drive it around a pretend neighborhood set up the park where Barney and BJ have some surprises in store for them.

Let's Go For A Ride!

Anger is an emotion that every child experiences, and on this particular day it seems that everyone in Barney's world is mad. Barney encourages all of his young friends to find good ways to express and deal with their angry moments-like talking about angry feelings, pounding on clay, and crossing their arms and shouting, "I'm mad!" A play about "Goldilocks and The Three Bears" helps BJ and Baby Bop to calm down after their heated sibling confrontation.

That Makes Me Mad!

Every day with Barney is fun-but today is stuuu-PENDously special: it's Barney's birthday! His friends decide to throw a party and BJ and Baby Bop arrive with party supplies to help prepare for the festivities. Jackson is inspired by their assortment of handmade presents and hurries home in search of a very "special" gift for Barney. While waiting for his return, they play party games, sing songs and open presents.

It's Your Birthday, Barney

Barney and the children spend the day preparing for a performance for their friends in the park.  BJ has trouble deciding what talent he'll perform in the show, but when he's reminded to just be himself, he discovers a talent that rocks the park!

It's Showtime!

The children have worked together to make a new birdhouse-but when Barney arrives, they learn that the lucky bird will be having lots of company. A tour of the park leads the children to discover that many animals already make their homes in the park. Mr. Boyd introduces the group to Sally the duck, tells of a hard-to-find owl who makes the park his home, and shows the group a real turtle.

At Home in the Park

Happy, sad, or mad, Barney and his friends discover that feelings aren't bad. The children have fun making masks to show what they're feeling on the inside. While Baby Bop and BJ learn how to talk about their feelings after an argument. Everyone finds their feelings change while singing, dancing, exercising, and being with friends.

Everybody's Got Feelings

A special project provides the perfect opportunity for Barney, Baby Bop and BJ to learn about love and relationships the "heart" way as they make a "Friends and Family Tree." Songs and games provide a fun way to remind them that playing together, being helpful and showing kindness are all ways of being nice to those we love and care about. With Barney's help, Baby Bop and BJ discover there are many people we love and care for and who care for us!

Safety first! After learning about fire safety when a firefighter visits the caboose, Barney and his friends are inspired to do a little "safety inspection" of their own. Baby Bop helps her teddy bear take a bath, BJ's accident shows why you should only skate outside, and saying "be careful" is a good way to tell someone how much you love them!

Barney and his friends have a "wheel good fun" day learning about cars. Barney creates a colorful, kid-size car, the dinos learn about seatbelt safety, and everyone discovers there are many different styles of cars.

On the Road Again!

Time for a check-up! Barney helps his friends discover the world of doctors and dentists as they learn about healthy habits like brushing teeth, getting checkups, eating healthy foods and getting exercise.

My Friends, The Doctor and Dentist

Barney has a surprise for BJ and Baby Bop! Their cousin Riff is moving to town! Riff surprises everyone with his awesome musical abilities and super-fun personality! Everyone is very excited that Riff will be in town for good./ Barney suggests that BJ and Baby Bop put on a special show so Riff can see how much fun they have at the park. Riff is a little shy - he's never performed in a show before. Barney encourages Riff to participate, and Riff does what he knows best - he makes music!

Welcome, Cousin Riff - Special Skills

BJ brings his brand-new toy plane to the park. Riff borrows the plane while BJ is playing. Curiosity gets the best of Riff and he ends up taking the plane apart to see how it works. Luckily, BJ isn't mad when he finds out, and he shows Riff how to put the plane back together. /Baby Bop is having a great time playing with her homemade boat. However, what she really wants is to ride in a big boat. Barney takes her to look at boats on the computer while BJ and Riff work on a big surprise for her.

Airplanes - Boats

Baby Bop is sad because she lost her pet caterpillar, Monty. Barney and the others try to help her find it. Baby Bop is surprised to discover Monty inside a chrysalis. Everyone is excited to find Monty - now a beautiful butterfly!/Barney and Baby Bop are thrilled when BJ sets up a bug zoo in the caboose, but Riff isn't so sure he wants to be around bugs. When the park is magically transformed into a amphitheatre with insects performing, Riff discovers that bugs don't bug him after all.

Butterflies - Bugs

Baby Bop, BJ and the children prepare for the Shapes Carnival in the park. Riff knows he will do well at the carnival because he is wearing his lucky medal. When he loses the medal, Riff is afraid he won't be able to play the games./When it starts to rain at the park, Baby Bop joins Barney and BJ inside the caboose. Baby Bop pokes her head out to see if the rain has stopped and spies a beautiful rainbow in the sky!

Shapes - Colors

A game of hide and seek takes a turn when Baby Bop claims that an elephant is hiding in the park! Barney and Riff are happy to play along, but BJ thinks that his sister may be "seeing things." Barney takes this opportunity to help the young dinos learn about their sense of sight./BJ and Riff engage in a friendly contest to see which of them can find the loudest sound in the park. The playful competition continues to escalate and along the way, the different sounds are introduced.

Seeing - Hearing

Riff has many special qualities, but sometimes, his shyness makes it hard for him to meet new friends. When Barney introduces Riff to some of his friends in the park, it's Baby Bop that ends up feeling less than special. Barney helps Baby Bop realize that there's more to being special than the things you can do./It's a special day in the park as Barney and the little dinos enjoy an Art Festival. BJ and Riff share some musical art and Baby Bop shares a painting of a very special friend!

Glad to Be Me - Arts

When some of the children in the park invite Barney to join them for a race, BJ and Baby Bop decide he'll need their help. They show him several ways to get ready for the big race by warming up and stretching./When BJ starts to feel sick after eating too many sweets, he lies down in hopes of feeling better. He has a dream about a snack fantasyland where he eats as many sweets as he wants and ends up with a big stomachache. When he wakes up, he's happy to find out it was only a dream.

Movement - BJ's Snack Attack

BJ and Riff find a pirate map, but in order to find the treasure, they have to be able to count. Since Baby Bop has not learned to count yet, Barney offers to help teach her so she can participate./It's time for a music concert in the park. As Riff works on his "one-man band," the others make posters for the show. Everyone enjoys Riff's calypso rendition of a favorite song, and they all enjoy helping each other.

Counting - Letters

BJ learns that having a pet is a much bigger responsibility than he ever expected when he offers to take care of a friend's dog. When he accidentally loses the dog, everyone has to work together to find it./When Baby Bop's favorite teddy bear is torn, she wants to take him to the veterinarian for help. Barney and Riff pretend to be veterinarians. They show Baby Bop that there's nothing to be afraid of, because doctors and veterinarians are our friends too.

Pets - Vets

When Baby Bop is surprised by the first day of cold weather, it's Barney that helps her see that winter can be a wonderful time for fun. Baby Bop is getting discouraged, wondering if it will ever snow./On a hot summer day, Barney teaches BJ about all the fun activities you can do during the summer. BJ gets so excited that he corrals Riff into joining him to do a whole summer's worth of activities, all in one day!

Winter - Summer

It's Barney's birthday, and there are surprises around every corner. When Barney begins to open his presents, Riff worries that his "hand-made" gift won't be good enough. Barney loves Riff's gift and reminds everyone that the best gift of all is one that comes from the heart./Baby Bop is practicing her marching because she will be joining a real marching rhythm band and is having trouble keeping a beat. Barney, BJ and Riff help Baby Bop learn about rhythm just in time.

Caring - Rhythm

Baby Bop has trouble following the rules and taking turns while playing games. Barney and Riff help her learn how to follow the rules./BJ hurts his toe while pretending to be Captain Pickles. When Barney suggests he rest in the caboose, BJ becomes frustrated, as he'd rather be outside playing. Barney reminds him of the wonderful world of books, and the little dinos decide to write a book of their own.

Playing Games - Fun with Reading

BJ's enthusiastic efforts to decorate the park go awry when he accidentally paints the caboose several different colors. Barney helps BJ learn that everyone makes mistakes./Baby Bop can't wait for BJ and Riff to go on their camping trip so she can have Barney and the park all to herself! But, once they're gone, she discovers she misses them more than she expected and the more time that goes by, the more she misses them!

Making Mistakes - Separation

BJ, Baby Bop and Riff can hardly wait for the petting zoo that is coming to the park. Barney helps them pass the time while teaching them about the days of the week. When the animals finally do arrive, everyone realizes that it was all worth the wait!/Riff feels terrible when he accidentally wrecks BJ's beloved scooter. BJ loved that scooter more than almost anything! Riff and Baby Bop decide to have a sale in the park to raise money to buy BJ a brand-new scooter.

Days of the Week - Sharing

BJ is pretending to be a great detective, and needs a mystery to solve! A case quickly comes his way when something nibbles on one of Baby Bop's healthy snacks./Barney sees Riff protecting a nest full of duck eggs. Together, they leave the eggs to look for food for when the ducklings hatch. When they return, Riff is pleasantly surprised to find the eggs have cracked open and the baby ducklings have hatched!

Rabbits - Ducks and Fish

While playing in the caboose, BJ is surprised to learn that "The Land of Mother Goose" truly exists. Several Mother Goose characters have come to ask for help; parts of their rhymes are missing! Mother Goose arrives and fixes the problem, and all of the Mother Goose characters return home./When Baby Bop catches Barney, BJ, Riff and some children wrapping a mysterious present in the caboose, she just can't wait to see what is in the box. Barney suggests they listen to a story while they wait.

Mother Goose - Fairy Tales

Baby Bop isn't satisfied with the things she can do. She wants to play the keyboard like Riff and wants to be able to skate like Barney./When a wheelchair-bound child is unintentionally neglected by his friends, Barney steps in to help. He gently reminds the others to include the child by showing them that even Barney feels excluded sometimes. It isn't always easy being a big, purple dinosaur.

Things I Can Do - Differences

On the day of the big dance party in the park, Barney and his friends introduce Jamal to many kinds of dance. Barney assures Jamal that he can do anything he puts his mind to, even dance./Barney tells Baby Bop the story of "The Princess Without a Song to Sing." Baby Bop imagines herself as the princess trying to find her unique song. Barney, BJ and Riff all become characters in the story, each sharing their songs and revealing an element of song, sound, rhythm and feeling.

Dancing - Singing

Riff can't find his drumsticks anywhere. He knows he had them when he visited various neighborhood locations with Barney earlier in the day. Barney magically recreates neighborhood spots to help refresh Riff's memory. Happily, Barney's strategy is a success and Riff finds his drumsticks./Barney helps Baby Bop explore many different jobs. At the end of the day, Baby Bop has several different careers to consider for when she grows up. But for now, she's happy just being three!

Neighborhood - Careers

BJ is waiting for a very special letter from his pen pal in China. The letter reveals that his pen pal is coming for a visit. With the help of friends in the park, BJ hurries to get the park ready. He wants it decorated so his pen pal feels right at home./Everyone is anxiously awaiting Mrs. Matuma's Harambee Dance Troupe to arrive. They finally arrive and perform a show of African music and dance and everyone pulls together in the true spirit of Harambee!

China - Kenya

Barney is snacking on pistachios... and just can't seem to stop! His crunching and munching distracts his young dino friends as they're painting pictures in the park. / Barney helps BJ explore the deeper meaning of team sports, friendships, and winning by observing other kids playing in the park - including some kids who need extra help from their teammates.

Pistacho - Full Team Ahead

In her eagerness to play with her friends, Baby Bop forgets to say "please" and "thank you". Barney tells her they're like magic words that have the power to make people feel nice. / Riff shares his dream of becoming an inventor and decides to invent something where no one will ever have to pick up litter again - The Litterbot!

The Magic Words - Litterbot

Baby Bop can't find anybody to play with her. When the others see her feeling sad, they decide to play whatever she wants to play. / The dinos and kids are planning a camp-out at the park, but Melanie is nervous about camping.

Bop 'Til You Drop - The Sleepless Sleepover

BJ (Wolf) sings that he wants to be a rock and roll star. Meanwhile, Baby Bop (Little Red Riding Hood) sings that she wants to be a country music star. / A talented young artist is painting a portrait of Barney, but when she has to step away... BJ gets mistaken for the artist who painted the striking portrait. Liking the attention he's getting, BJ can't help being himself to correct the misunderstanding.

Little Red Rockin' Hood - The Whole Truth

Baby Bop is excited to set up a lemonade stand on a beautiful sunny day. Unfortunately, BJ thinks her spot is the perfect place to launch his kite. After BJ tries to make her move, he and Baby Bop get into a debate of which is better: the sun or the wind. / Rachel enters the park and carelessly litters. Through Barney's help, Rachel learns that the park is not only a place to come and play but it's also the home of many different creatures.

The Wind and the Sun - The Nature of Things

When Riff meets a new kid in the Park, they become fast friends. BJ feels left out, thinking his friend Riff has abandoned him. He goes to some lengths to find a replacement, but Barney helps him see that we don't forget old friends when we make new ones. / Barney, Bop & some Park Kids are planning to go to a movie, but Ryan learns he can't go. His Grandpa is coming to visit from out of town. Ryan is disappointed. But when Grandpa arrives, they have a great day in the Park.

The New Kid - Grandpa's Visit

Baby Bop wants Barney, BJ and the Park Kids to play with her instead of working in a garden. They promise to play with her as soon as they're done. Unwilling to wait for them to finish, she tries comical strategies to get them to come play with her. / RIFF plays detective to track down the source of a mysterious sound in the Park. Aided by Barney and the park kids, he identifies sounds in nature and the neighborhood.

The Big Garden - Listen!

After BJ loses everyone's tickets to the circus, he sets out to find them and learns a valuable lesson about responsibility. / Baby Bop discovers a lonely little flower struggling to grow in a shady spot. She takes it to a sunny spot, nurtures it, and is thrilled when the flower blooms. When the flower dies on a cold day, Barney and friends help her gain hope for the future.

Lost and Found - Pot Full of Sunshine

Three kids try to build a pretend farm with disastrous results because they won't work together. Barney takes them to a ranch to show them how all the different people who work there have to work together to keep things running smoothly. / Barney, Baby Bop. BJ and Riff discover Olivia, a sad little girl in the park one day and strive to make her happy again. Nothing seems to work until Riff invents a Happiness Machine and suddenly everyone is very happy!

Trail Boss Barney - Get Happy!

BJ wants to learn Terry's fancy basketball moves. He tries hard, but just can't seem to do it! More importantly, he's not even having fun anymore. After some advice from Barney and Terry, BJ has fun while doing his best! / On a campout, Baby Bop sees a falling star and wants to return it to the sky. With a little imagination and help from Barney and friends, she replaces the star that fell.

For the Fun of It - Starlight, Star Bright

Everyone loves Barney! When Ryan tries to be just like Barney, he has a hard time filling Barney's shoes. Ryan soon learns that he is special when he's just being himself! / Barney explains to Baby Bop that the word "no" can help you avoid making mistakes or getting hurt.

Big as Barney - No, No, No!

Barney and his friends are excited about a fishing contest, but Ryan doesn't want to follow the rules. Ryan is tempted to cheat, but Barney tells everyone a story about a boy who had a similar problem. Ryan decides that honesty is the best policy! / When Riff meets a new friend with a hearing disability, he wonders if he would still like music if he couldn't hear. Barney tells Riff about a famous musician named Beethoven who wrote beautiful music even when he couldn't hear.

BJ and Baby Bop decide to get Halloween celebrations underway with a costume party. Under Barney's supervision, they're soon all preparing for the event. But when it comes to picking costumes, Riff's creativity suddenly abandons him. He wants to make the perfect choice, but just can't decide. / Barney & Friends go trick or treating in the park. When little Ramon loses his trick-or-treat candy, BJ shares his treats with Ramon.

Guess Who? - Sweet Treats

When the Park Kids decide to have a Dog Show to show off their pets, BJ feels a little left out. He doesn't have a dog. A Park-goer lets BJ borrow her dog for the show. Together, the kids have a great time and realize that all their dogs are winners. / A rainy day has everyone stuck in the Caboose. Barney suggests fun activities.

Best in Show - The Chase

As he watches birds fly overhead, Riff begins to daydream of flying himself. He decides to build a rocket and fly to Mars. The flight is not exactly a success, but Barney encourages him to never give up on his dreams. / After seeing all the Moms playing with their kids in the Park, Baby Bop gets curious: she wonders what makes somebody a Mommy. With Barney's help, she learns about the different ways Moms help their children.

Dream Big - That's What A Mommy Is

Baby Bop's blankey seems to be getting smaller; she's convinced it's shrinking. But Barney shows her that, actually, Baby Bop is growing. / When Riff takes a bite of ice cream, he realizes has a very sore tooth. Afraid of going to the dentist, Barney and his friends put on a show to help Riff see there is nothing to be afraid of - the dentist is his friend.

The Shrinking Blankey - The Awful Tooth

Marcos accidentally breaks an Art Show project that Melanie has made. Afraid that she will be mad at him, Marcos doesn't tell anyone what he has done, but not admitting the truth makes him miserable. Barney helps him see that honesty and taking responsibility for what we have done is always best. / A Park Kid named Myra has decided she doesn't like her name. But Barney helps her see that it's a very special name - because it is hers.

The Blame Game - What's Your Name?

Barney and the kids take imaginary trips to different countries with the magical caboose. / BJ wants to be a great magician just like Barney. But he doesn't want to spend the necessary time practicing.

It's Christmas in the Park and BJ dreams of getting a new glove to go with his beloved big league baseball - while Riff hopes for new drumsticks. Barney reminds them that Christmas is about more than getting. / Melanie spends so much time helping her friends at Christmas that she is late writing her letter to Santa. Barney takes her on a trip to the North Pole to deliver her letter in person.

Gift of the Dinos - A Visit to Santa

Everyone is excited about the upcoming trip to the zoo, but unfortunately their trip is postponed. Baby Bop is disappointed, so Riff gets the idea to create a musical zoo. / Barney tells Baby Bop a tale about keeping your promise. In a fantasy sequence, we see the story of the Frog Prince played out.
