Having spent her life "wrestling" with three brothers, Tess realizes she has picked up more than a few skills that would make her perfect for Jack's wrestling team. Despite his hesitation, Jack is thrilled to discover she puts all the boys on his team to shame and could very well lead them to victory. However, what Tess discovers is that boys hate losing to girls... But not as much as they hate finding out one has let them win.

Wrestling With Boys

It's Picture Day and as usual, Tess fights her brothers for the bathroom in the morning. Add that to never getting the remote and sitting through meals with them (which is really more like "feeding time at the zoo"), and Tess has had just about enough. Fortunately, Grandma is willing to come to town and teach them some manners. At first, Tess thinks she's hit the jackpot, but then when Grandma tries to straighten her out, too, she realizes that maybe she doesn't have the right to change them.

A Perfect Life With Boys

Tess and Allie are really excited about being invited to the coolest party of the year, until they find out that Sam was left off the guest list. Hating to see her brother upset, she convinces the party-thrower to invite Sam, only to discover that the cool kids are planning to humiliate him once he gets there. Tess is forced to tell Sam the truth, causing him to be more upset than ever.Gabe is the only person who can talk sense into him and Tess realizes that boys must have their own language.

Monkey Talk With Boys

Conflicting after-school activities begin to worry Tess and Allie that their friendship may begin to strain. So, they decide to each try to share an interest of the other's - Tess attempts to become a cheerleader and Allie attempts to go camping. Both become frustrated and realize their friendship is about more than just doing things together.

In The Principal's Office With Boys

Tess calls Jack to get permission to get her ears pierced early, but he is preoccupied with her brothers and shoots her down before she can plead her case. In a weak moment, Tess gets her ears pierced anyway, but immediately feels guilty. When she gets home, she plans to tell him the truth, but before she can, Dad gives her permission and therefore, a way to not get caught. But when he tells her how proud he is that she waited until he said yes, Tess has a hard time living with the guilt.

This Time The Problem Is With Dad And Not With Boys

Jack finds out that Tess and Sam have been asked to join the Mathlete Team and not wanting to disappoint him, Tess agrees to do it even though she knows it will mean risking "social death" at school. Much to her surprise, however, the other mathletes are actually really cool and even have her back when she does something extremely embarrassing that gets caught on tape.

Worried that her Dad may stay single forever, Tess and Allie decide to take matters into their own hands by setting him up. After a failed attempt at the Blend, they create a dating video for him and put it online. Seven hundred hits later (and counting...), they discover that you just can't force love.

Tess and Allie accidentally send a compromising picture of Sam to the whole school, causing widespread ridicule. They decide the only way to make it up to him is to rebuild his image by having Allie pose as his girlfriend, which leads to a moral dilemma for Sam. Gabe has his reservations about the new neighbor and her interest in Jack.

Every year, Allie goes on an exotic Christmas vacation with her family, and this year she's invited Tess to come along. Ecstatic about the news, she comes home only to discover that Dad has planned a trip for them to surprise Grandma with a visit instead. Tess's brothers have dominated the bathroom in the mornings. Jack believes this may finally be the year his wrestling team can beat their rival, Pineview Prep, thanks to Tess's skills. But that confidence is put into question when Pineview reveals their new transfer, Bobby Parelli, last year's City Champion. Tess Runs into Bobby at the batting cages. After a "who misses first" contest, Tess is so sore the next morning she can barely move, let alone wrestle, but how can she tell Dad she let her pride make her lose sight of the goal?

Tess is shocked when she discovers that her best friend, Allie, has started dating her wrestling nemesis, Bobby Parelli. What could they possibly have in common? She agrees to make an effort to play nice, however, and the three of them go to the movies. In trying to point out the gaps in his relationship with Allie, Tess accidentally highlights all of the reasons he should be dating her instead. Suddenly, Bobby has broken up with Allie and set his sights on Tess.

Tess promises Allie that she will stop seeing Bobby if she wants her to, but is certain Allie won't make her. When Allie insists, Tess is forced to see Bobby in secret. Before she can do that, however, Emily Osment (Hannah Montana) makes a surprise visit to the Blend and a picture of the three of them ends up in the next morning's paper. Now desperate to keep the truth from Allie, she begins to see her guilt manifesting itself in strange ways.
