Henry advises Punky and Cherie not to play at the vacant lot down the street because it is dangerous. The girls explain to Henry that there is nowhere else they can play baseball.

Fighting City Hall

Punky and Cherie play matchmaker and set Henry up on a blind date with the school librarian, Ms. Maytag. The date turns out to be a great success but causes Henry to act like a different person and spend a ton of money on clothes.

The Matchmaker

Henry is hired by one of the wealthiest families in the country to photograph the birthday party of their son, Robert Whitney. Against the advise of his social secretary, Charles Contrell, Robert invites Punky to his party.

My Fair Punky

Punky, Cherie, Margaux and Brandon are rehearsing a western show, when Henry comes in with good news -- the circus is back in town. The girls are all excited, until Cherie learns they are going tomorrow, May 9.

The Anniversary

Henry is excited about taking a photograph of Andre Sockstein, conductor of The Chicago Metropolitan Symphony. He tells Punky that this picture will be made into a poster and will be seen throughout the world.

Tangled Web

Punky is visiting Henry at his photo studio in the shopping mall when she notices a 400-hundred pound pig standing in a pen. Punky befriends the pig and is furious when she learns that Pinky" will soon be butchered."

Blugner, tricks her into inviting him to the Sadie Hawkins Day Dance. Punky asks Henry if she has to go to the dance with Spud. Henry tells her that rejection can be painful, but whatever she decides will be the right thing.

Matt Glossy, owner of a chain of photography studios, offers Henry a $100,000 cash to sell his studio, plus a management position. Henry and Punky talk over the business proposition and agree to sell.

is extremely busy and his only hired help quits. Henry is discouraged after interviewing several inexperienced job applicants.

Mrs. Johnson, Cherie and Margaux reminisce when they are trapped in Henry and Punky's apartment during a blizzard.

Remember When

Punky discovers Henry has been taking sleeping pills every night for the past six months. She tells him that he is hooked on the pills. Henry tells Punky that he is not a drug addict and not to make a problem where none exists.

Punky's cousin, Louise, comes for a visit and Henry and Punky are surprised to see how overweight she is. Louise makes jokes about her appearance but Punky discovers how unhappy she really is.

Punky and Henry discover Allen hiding in their apartment because he can't cope with his parents fighting. Punky decides if they invite Allen's parents to a barbecue they will make up.

Punky needs her first bra. Embarrassed, and not knowing how to handle the situation, Henry enlists the help of Mrs. Johnson. Punky overhears Henry tell Mrs. Johnson that he doesn't want his little girl to grow up.

The Metamorphosis

Punky and Cherie return home tired and overjoyed, having earned enough money shoveling snow to go skiing. But they have to borrow skis from Margaux.

While cleaning up Punky's Place one evening after closing, Henry is disappointed to learn that Punky has no desire to be a restaurateur. Her dream is to be an astronaut.

Aunt Larnese, Mrs. Johnson's sister and Cherie's aunt, is flying into town from her home in Paris for a nightclub engagement and for Cherie's birthday.

Punky and Cherie are writing in their diaries. Punky is upset because she has nothing worthwhile to record, while Cherie is writing furiously and filling page after page with her activities.

Punky is visited by Cherie's cousin Paula and her three-year-old brother, Bobby. Paula is a wonderful artist and draws everyone's portrait. Cherie wants her to enter an art contest, but Paula keeps procrastinating by not filling out the application.

The Reading Game

Everyone is preparing to leave on a two-week vacation at a lake when Punky tells Cherie she's had a stomachache for two days. Cherie thinks that's a long time and tells Punky to speak to Mrs. Johnson, who is a nurse.

The time has come when Henry hates his job as apartment business manager. He has to raise the rent of the tenants. Mrs. Johnson's rent has been raised 60 percent. The real problem is that the landlord is Benjamin J. Kramer, Margaux's father.
