In the cool highlands near Australia's Snowy Mountains, in South East Australia, is a large woodland area, known as Wombat Wood. There dotted amongst the trees and dense foliage are the visible openings of over a hundred burrows, where the wombats sleep during the warmth of the day. Benny is just one of the wombats living here. Named by the conservationists who protect and observe this area, has one of the more dominant males.
