A Bernese Mountain puppy, delivered by emergency Caesarean last episode, is brought in to see Practice Partner, Peter Wright. Vet Sarah sees Polly the poorly Chicken who is off her food and suffering in pain.

Episode 3

In this episode The Yorkshire Vet, Julian Norton, is called to an emergency down on the farm where semi-retired farmers, The Peckitt's have a cow suffering from an excruciatingly painful and life-threatening condition, bloat. Former Herriot trainee, Peter Wright, treats a hand-reared lamb who is going for the chop (not that sort) because he's causing chaos in the family to which he's been adopted.

Episode 4

The Yorkshire Vet, Julian Norton, is called out to a local petting farm to help a bad-tempered goat with a suspected broken leg - but the goat is not keen on getting treatment! When Peter takes an emergency call from an anxious trainer, it could be the end of the line for a horse that has cut open its foot while grazing in a field.

Episode 5

Skeldale Student vet Molly turns to the Yorkshire vet for help as she brings in her cat Marlo who appears to have been shot in the head. Julian has to perform emergency surgery. Farmer Chris Colbeck is worried about his sheepdog Floss, who was run over by a tractor on the farm. Can Peter fix her wounded leg so that Floss can get back to her flock?

Episode 6

Julian Norton, Peter Wright and their staff deal with more animal emergencies. This episode includes a dog facing an emergency operation to remove a tumour and a prolapsing sheep that has to be treated on the car park.

Julian and head nurse Sarah tend to an injured swan at a fishing lake. Meanwhile, Bobby (a canine member of the North Yorkshire police force) is brought in to the surgery to have an operation.

Julian Norton has to get to grips with castrating alpacas, while Peter Wright attempts to perform a life-changing operation on a dearly loved pug dog that is having breathing difficulties.

Julian is called out to a pregnant cow struggling to calf. When it becomes clear that the lives of both animals are in danger he considers performing an emergency Caesarian.

Staff tend to a poodle with a problem penis, a rabbit with an abscess, a cow with a neck wound and an overly-amorous donkey before gathering to say farewell to Sarah who is leaving to have a baby.

Julian Norton receives an emergency call from alpaca breeder Jackie, whose prize-winning female Cinderella is having a difficult labour. Peter Wright has to castrate Larry the chinchilla who is responsible for a population explosion.

Julian Norton is called out on an emergency to a heifer that is in agony, with an object stuck in its painful, swollen and infected hoof. Peter removes a large lump from the head of golden retriever, Holly.

Julian faces the tricky task of castrating a group of alpacas whose owner has been using holistic techniques to pacify them. Peter treats a Yorkshire Terrier and the team try to save a stray cat whose leg has been snapped in two.

In this episode Julian is called out to a desperately ill calf, he is weak and cannot stand. This baby is so poorly that his life hangs in the balance. Peter gets a 'bum deal' when he meets a senior citizen cat with severe constipation.

In this episode, farmer Richard Todd brings one of his much-loved semi-feral moggies into the practice. But 'Pretty Tom' isn't living up to his name. Peter believes the lump on Tom's face could be a life threatening tumour. To be safe, the mass must be removed urgently but Peter knows it will be extremely difficult surgery. Against all odds can Peter, with the help of Vet Helen, save Pretty Tom?

In this episode Julian goes head to head with Hilda the Highland Cow - battling to remove a large lump from between her horns.

Julian is called out to a poorly three day old calf who's collapsed and looking very sorry for itself. Julian suspects a bacterial infection and warns farmer Stuart Robinson that the calf could be contagious. But, if Farmer Stuart's family don't practice good hygiene our vet warns 'they could all be shitting like mad.' Unlucky Terrier Holly has been brought into the surgery after falling off a bed.

Julian gets a panic-stricken call from Alpaca farmer, Jackie Barlow. Two of her alpacas, Gavroche and Francesca, have sneaked into the barn and gorged themselves on the food stash. They're struggling to breathe, foaming at the mouth and choking. At Skeldale, Julian faces one of his toughest challenges to date - Bertram the Bloodhound has a nasty tumour, as big as an egg, above his eye.

Julian is called out to treat two cattle from farmer Stuart Robinson's herd. Julian removes a stone from the first cow's hoof. But the second animal is a different proposition. Despite being sedated, one ton bull Merchant drags Julian around the barn. Chaos ensues as the bull simply refuses to be pulled to the ground for treatment.

In this episode Peter is pushed to his limits when he tries to save the life of a new mum who has prolapsed her uterus while calving. Julian goes head-to-head with a 300kg boar named Donald who doesn't want to part with his sharp and dangerous tusks. Back at the practice it's unlucky for some of the team when 13 ferrets come in, and smelly chaos ensues.

In this episode, with the harvest fast approaching, young working dog Ted has fallen ill after running through a field of barley. His owner Amy rushes him down to the practice at nearly midnight and Julian fears that Ted has inhaled some grain into his lungs - which could put his life in danger.

The 159th Great Yorkshire Show, is the hottest date in the Yorkshire's farming calendar and one of the UK's biggest agricultural shows. Peter and Julian are called by farmers across the land to get their livestock into peak condition.

In this episode, Peter is mystified by the contents of Khufu the cat's stomach after his owner is concerned that he has totally lost his appetite. Peter performs surgery on the cat but when he opens its stomach, he gets the shock of his life!

Can Julian save Duffy the Westie who has a massive liver tumour? Peter races to an emergency lambing, with the babies tangled inside mum and struggling to breathe. A cat arrives with a jaw dropping injury and four large, angry pigs need a pedicure.

Peter turns shoemaker to try and save a lame cow. An unusual case of llama colic poses a problem for Julian, who also has a fight on his hands with Rocky the cat. A pioneering new treatment is tried at Skeldale. And a plucky parrot needs a pedicure.

All Farmers Great and Small

Peter Wright reflects on a much loved farming couple, Jean and Steve Green. They were married 40 years ago and are looking forward to their anniversary vow renewal. Jean is moved to tears when Julian arrives with an anniversary present.

The Green's Story

Julian must treat a pregnant heifer with a pelvis that may be too small to give birth, while a cat that lost a leg after being run over by a car suffers another injury in a road accident, but this time, no treatment may be possible.

Peter treats a ewe that is struggling to give birth to twin lambs, and also performs a complicated and risky surgery on a tawny owl to remove the bird's ruptured eyeball.

Peter treats a lamb that was born with a life-threatening cyst full of spinal fluid on its head, which will require delicate and painstaking surgery to safely remove. Julian is called out in the middle of the night to save a cow that has experienced dangerous complications while giving birth, a pig is resistant to being castrated, and a dog swallows a bottle of e-cigarette liquid.

Julian sets up a blood bank for baby alpacas, but collecting donations is harder than expected. Peter is woken at 2am by an emergency call-out for a pregnant cow, and must be at his sharpest to deliver the calf safely. A sheepdog undergoes treatment to remove a tumour, a cat is in need of castration, and Katie visits a bad-tempered pig with very sore eyes.

Julian Norton treats a cow with a rare and complex problem. The cow's stomach has become displaced and moved to the wrong side of her body, causing pain and stopping her eating. Meanwhile in Thirsk, a baby roe deer is brought into the practice as it has stopped taking milk, and a dog has a large tumour removed in a tricky operation.

In this episode Peter gets a call to help a Mother ewe deliver her baby lambs, but there are complications when Peter finds out the two are tangled in the womb. We meet one of the youngest chicken farmers, Jack, who has a few bad eggs in the flock in desperate need of help.

Peter rushes to help a cow, who after delivery, has accidentally pushed out her uterus. Julian goes head to head with Arnie the ram who is very intimidating for those who look his way, but unfortunately he is struggling with his own sight.

In the middle of a storm an an alpaca gave birth to a cria. Peter gets the call to see if he has more than just a chill. Julian introduces us to their rabbit Luna, but she has to learn to share as they take in a new stray Boris. In order to welcome him into the family Boris will need to be castrated.

Julian heads out to help a rare breed of cow named Bertha. She is a champion breeder with a troubling eye infection. Peter returns yet again to the Green's to check on one of their donkeys. It is just one of many visits Peter has made to the Greens in the 36 years he's been helping them, but will things go as routine as before?

Julian and Peter must both operate on dogs with tumours. Other patients include hens with an eye infection, a cow having a caesarean, and three surprisingly speedy tortoises.

There's an emotional emergency for Peter at an old friend's farm. Steve's wife is seriously ill, and now her favourite sheep's life is in the balance...

Peter faces a difficult calving at Ed McDonald's farm. The cow is an experienced mum and Ed is an experienced farmer, so Peter senses it's a serious problem.

Peter heads to a neighbour's farm hoping he can save the life of a seriously ill sheep. Her infected foot has become infested with maggots and it's touch and go whether Peter can get her back on her feet.

Greedy terrier Wesley has taken his food obsession too far and eaten an oven glove. Peter operates to try and remove the blockage and save Wesley's life.

It's birthing season on Jackie Barlow's alpaca farm. And after Julian turns up just in time to see one baby born, it's the cria who arrived yesterday that needs his help. Kestrel has deformed legs and he's struggling to walk, let alone run.

Two babies' lives hang in the balance. Peter rushes into Skeldale on his day off to try and save Richard Bell's lamb, who was badly injured when he was born just a few hours ago. And at Suzanne Benson's trekking centre, Julian's treating a very poorly one-week old llama called Noah.

Julian heads to the historic Harewood House near Leeds to check on some goats who are moving to a new enclosure. But catching them isn't going to be easy. In fact, it proves quite painful!

Julian is at Jackie's alpaca farm to see one of his favourite girls, Cinderella. After delivering her baby a few years ago, recently he performed a c-section when she was struggling again.

It's Sunday morning, but it's no day of rest for Julian as he heads to the Taylors' farm. One of their sheep has prolapsed a few days after he delivered her lamb, and Julian has his work cut out to receive another reward of freshly laid eggs.

The Green have a new addition to their farm - a tiny kitten they've called Magic. He arrived at Jean and Steve's after being found on his own by a main road in the middle of the night.

Peter heads to a local farm where Bernie the boar is strangely off his food. Peter's worried that the problem could be serious, but examining a big boar who's not feeling well isn't easy.

Julian rushes over to see worried and confused farmer Joe Holmes. He found one of his cows with afterbirth hanging out, so he thought she'd already calved. But there's no sign of a new arrival, so he suspects she's struggling to give birth.

Peter's under extra pressure when he heads out to see Charlie the horse - he belongs to his niece Jess. She's always loved horses and rides them competitively, so Charlie needs his wolf teeth removing so they don't interfere with the bit.

Peter rushes to help a cow who is struggling to give birth. Father and son farmers John and Ian believe the calf is coming backwards, but Peter realises that the job is even more challenging. It's a true breech birth, and time is against him if he's going to save the calf.

Julian treats a seriously ill llama called Echo who isn't breathing well. After the tricky job of conducting his first llama chest X-rays, Julian can see there's fluid in Echo's lungs. And when he takes a sample, he doesn't like what he sees.

Peter tries to save a cow who has suffered a huge prolapse after giving birth. With the newborn calf depending on her mum, the pressure is on.
