Meet the Otteson clan, a multi-generation family of Nevada turquoise miners. The family works overtime to fill an order from a luxury Japanese designer, who is in search of high-grade turquoise and the rare stone, White Buffalo. This unique stone is found only on the Otteson's claims. While Tristan and Lane mine through the night for turquoise, the rest of the family scrambles to find a new deposit of White Buffalo.

White Buffalo

After the death of their patriarch, the Otteson family struggles to cope, and their turquoise production grinds to a halt. In response, Donna takes charge by reopening her jewelry business and pushing the miners to step up their output to ensure a reliable supply of high-grade turquoise. Trenton and Tony decide to prospect at the last claim where Dean mined in hopes of surprising Donna with a treasure trove of precious stone.

Once an Otteson, Always an Otteson

A new client approaches the Otteson's about a big order that could lead to them being her exclusive dealer. The family works together to gather enough high-grade turquoise to make the tight deadline. While Tony and Trenton widen the pit at the Apache mine, Emily warns them of the danger, reminding them no amount of money is worth their lives. JaKell and Emily decide to join their husbands on-site to keep them safe and help them make the sale.

Big Drills, Big Deals

Right when their turquoise inventory is at an all-time low, the Otteson's biggest client reaches out with a large order. Taking a gamble, Tony and Trenton decide to buy back a mine that was once owned by their grandfather Lynn. They quickly find a promising source of turquoise at the Lucky Lynn Mine, but their luck changes when an excavator breaks down before they can retrieve the precious stone.

Luck Be an Otteson

The Ottesons have high hopes for the Cloud 9 mine, but a treacherous road stands between them and a trove or turquoise. Trenton receives an urgent phone call from JaKell that forces him to rethink his continued work in the remote mines during her difficult pregnancy. Danny teaches his sons Tristan and Lane the science of prospecting for turquoise and gives them control of their first mine.

Up on Cloud 9

While prospecting for a new turquoise mine, the Ottesons discover an abundance of variscite, a gemstone that has recently grown in popularity. The family quickly gets to work to open their first variscite claim. The news of their promising discovery reaches Trenton when he's home with JaKell during the last days of her complicated pregnancy. With Trenton excited and anxious, JaKell assures him she will be fine if he goes out for the day to check out the new claim.

Mo' Money, Mo' Problems

The pressure is on for the Ottesons when one of their most important clients, Yasu, a luxury Japanese designer, returns requesting more of the White Buffalo stone. With none of the rare stone on hand, the family works overtime in harsh conditions to unearth enough White Buffalo stone to fulfill the order within just a few days.
